Unfortunate you gave up on this, it was really really good,

KeeganMcFly responds:

I didn't, the other people did.

FYI to anyone reading, this model and the textures are actually by Lee Perry-Smith, released under CC-BY license for public use. Here's a link to the object file, textures and displacement maps directly from Lee: www.ir-ltd.net/infinite-3d-head-scan-
released

George Zaal just created custom shaders for this model for use in Blender.
I fail to see where the heavy modding you speak of is in this animation, save for removing said shaders making it actually look worse, because the originals (both Lee's and Zaal's modified one) don't look like this at all. And besides, obvious tests like this shouldn't really be uploaded to Newgrounds, just finished products. And don't spout the whole "but everyone else is doing it" nonsense that I've seen you say a few times already in your responses. I look forward to a finished, refined and polished product from you some day.

Yes he is right! But i made the animation. :/ just so you know!

Although it could still use some work overall, execution of your intention was incredibly well done. Good matching of mouth motions to vocals, though the sound quality does need some help. The arm wave of dismissal was key to establishing the non-chalant attitude the character had towards the game. Then the quick smile at the end was a cherry on top. I absolutely empathized with the magnitude of fear that is instilled in the player by this game, which intrigued me to actually see for myself.
So, I also want to thank you for introducing me to a game that just made the sedative industry a lot of money, because I'll never sleep again with my own free will. God bless you for making it to 15 minutes. 10 minutes in, I got up, turned on my lights, closed my window despite the heat, and am preparing my camera for the dawn I'm about to view. Its a good thing I stopped there and not aimed for longer, or I'd be ready to make Bayer some dough as well.
Whoever is reading this can trust my words. If you want to feel a fear that is quite effective in launching you headfirst into near-panic, then by all means try this game. In fact I recommend it because there really isn't much out there like this. Oh and play it in the dark with really good headphones. And then you'll understand.
Ok so as for the review, this is an A. Impressive work man.

Oh and for whoever is reading, the link for the pc game has a space in between the i and the p in /zip/, which needs to be removed to get the link working, if you're having that trouble.
And enter "www.4shared.com" at the Bugmenot dot com website if you're having trouble downloading due to login fyi.

df36367 responds:

wow, thanks for the review. i totally understand the sound problem but with my lack of budget i didn't know what was worse a screeching noise or the somewhat quiet sound byte.
or maybe ill just talk louder next time, thank you again

Thank God. The whole ban week thing was a crock of shit.

VioletVulpine responds:

You just have bad taste.

There's not too much to this animation, but great job with the mouth animation matching the vocals. Keep it up, you have talent. Overall OK - C-

edrubio5 responds:

Thanks :D

The artwork and concept are good, though the voiceover quality was pretty average. There are quite a few graphical glitches throughout the animation (random horizontal lines) and got a bit distracting at certain points. Overall OK - C+

LessThanNormal responds:

Hopefully with taking care of those glitches and a better voice we can make it a B- in the future...maybe even pisu for a B ^^

A well drawn animation, but definitely could stand to evolve. Definitely add some more color into your next one, it'll really help your drawing ability to stand out.

Also work on adding some more subject matter into your animations whether it be parody, a series or even a longer animation like this one, just with more content. Voice acting isn't even totally necessary if you choose to imply your subject through well placed facial expressions and actions/body language of the characters.

In any case, you definitely have talent, keep it up. Overall Good C+

deXXaReDD responds:

I use no color on it as a unique style. Thanks anyway for the advice.

If you put a bit more effort on fleshing out your animations, the mouth movements and fingers on the fretboard in particular, this would be a much better experience. Because the content is great, I laughed a few times, but the quality of the animation detracts from that. Overall Not Bad - C+

Blounty responds:

Thanks for the review, I will do better animation next time. As I said below I just pooped this out in a few hours.

Very, very well done detailed, colorful and multilayered animation, though I have a few gripes:
* the scenes with the armies could stand to have some differentiation amongst its members, just to help with viewer immersion.
* Though the ninja fly had excellent fluid animations, the other characters did not, particularly the ladybugs.
Excellent work overall - A

Rezeile responds:

Thanks for your great imput....I gave myself a time limit to do the whole thing.....So some character animation suffered for it....Thanks again!!

LOL I always hated that pseudo-Napoleon from RE4! Great animation flow and style, I appreciated the attention to sync the voice with the animation. The music complements the comedic effect really well. Hilarious parody - A

Eyelids-pie responds:

thanks alot!
i always loved that little man
i want all my babies to be him

LOOONG time Newgrounds lurker, finally decided to join and share. Love you all. I write music in FL Studio 10, export for upload @ 44000Hz/24bit. Most of my music pops in my head uncontrollably at random moments. Enjoy my brain junk!
